New tarif system from 1/11/2007 based on Multiples

From 1 november 2007 the Belgian Post introduced a new tarif system based on MULTIPLES and not in Euro anymore.

 

A) Rates in MULTIPLES for standardised National mail (first stamps 1/11/2007)

These charges apply if your mail meets the following conditions:

  • Rectangular shape
  • Franked in the upper right-hand corner of the front of the letter
  • Minimum dimensions: 90 x 140 mm
  • Maximum dimensions: 125 x 235 mm
  • Maximum weight: 50 g
  • Maximum thickness: 5 m
  • Prior

B) Rates in MULTIPLES for non-standardised National mail (first stamps 1/11/2007)

If your mail does not meet ALL these conditions, the non-standardised mail rates apply. Non-standardised mail must also meet certain size criteria:

  • width: min. 90 mm (with a tolerance of 2 mm)
  • width: max. 305 mm
  • length: min. 140 mm (with a tolerance of 2 mm)
  • length: max 381 mm
  • height (thickness): max 30 mm
